Gladstone's Land
Fascinating hidden gem!
One of the oldest buildings on the Royal Mile, Gladstone’s Land sits at the fashionable end of the Royal Mile just a stone’s throw from the castle. This 500-year-old building is a towering testament to tenement life in Edinburgh’s Old Town.
Explore the 17th century apartment, and get a glimpse into the lifestyles of the rich and the (in)famous in 1600s Edinburgh.
