Visit the incredible five star Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick, just 30 minutes from Edinburgh. Control live cameras to zoom in on amazing wildlife, which can include puffins, gannets and seals.

The Discovery Centre team will take you through key things to spot during your visit and there’s also a Wildlife Theatre, 3D TV, fish tanks plus a Kids’ Corner and Kids’ Zone.  Enjoy seasonal boat trips (additional fee) from Easter through to October and discover wonderful local produce in the café and gift shop.

Interesting Fact: The Bass Rock is the world’s largest colony of Northern gannets and the Isle of May is the biggest puffin colony on the east coast of Britain!

Top Tip: A trip to the seaside isn’t complete without enjoying a portion of fish and chips from the Ship Inn on the beach.

Open daily 10am-6pm in summer and 10am – 4pm in winter (open until 5pm during winter weekends). Opens at the end of March.

To ensure you have sufficient time to enjoy your visit, last entry to the Discovery Centre and final hot food orders are 45 minutes before closing time.

For safety reasons, children aged 15 years or under must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 18 or over at all times.
